Discussion Topic, Many types of bias exist when it comes to surveys, including nonresponse bias, undercoverage, and poorly worded survey questions. Think about a survey you’ve been asked to participate in. Maybe it was printed on a fast-food receipt or a store directed you to an online survey after you made a purchase. What influenced you to participate in the survey or to opt out of participating?

Answer:
Majority of the time, people only do a survey if it’s required of them or if there is something they earn from completing it. More often than not a survey is thought of as a waste of time, so stores eventually put a “prize” at the end, like coupons or discounts. A survey I’ve done in the past was for a clothing store, a person working there told me about it. If I did it I’d get 5% off, and also I could send the survey to up to 4 people and get up to 25% off.

Step-by-step explanation:
I would opt out of a survey, mainly because it seems like a waste of time and certain surveys offer a “prize” at the end of the survey with sometimes coupons or discounts. I would also opt out of a survey because in the past Ive taken surveys and most never gave the “prize” and contain a “click bait” scheme.
Hope This helped you 🙂
