    Let the time for cycling is t, so that time time for jogging is 2 – t .  

    distance = speed x time

    49 = 30 x t + 8 (2 – t)

    49 = 30 t + 16 – 8 t

    33 = 22 t

    t = 1.5 hour

    So, time for cycling is 1.5 hours and time for jogging s 0.5 hr.
