    Answer

    Given,

    Current, I = 14.6 A

    magnetic force per unit length = 0.119 N/m

    Magnitude of magnetic field = B = ?

    a) F = ILB sin θ

    θ = 90°

    So,

    \dfrac{F}{L}=IB

    0.119=14.6\times B

    B = \dfrac{0.119}{14.6}

    B = 0.00815\ T

    B = 8.15\ mT

    b) The direction of magnetic field is in +z direction.
