Explanation:
The use of NaOH to scrub carbon dioxide;
2NaOH(aq) + CO₂(g) → Na₂CO₃(aq) + H₂O(l)
The Na₂CO₃ would then reacted with CaOH to form limestome;
Na₂CO₃(aq) + Ca(OH)₂(s) → 2NaOH(aq) + CaCO₃(s)
NaOH would then be regenerated and used again to scrub more carbon dioxide.
Carbon dioxide for industrial use can then be obtained by burning the CaCO₃.
CaCO₃(s) → CaO(s) + CO₂(g)
