    Both weathering and erosion take time to take place for the eye to see a difference.  An easy explanation for this is by saying that weathering a rock for example, yet it doesn’t change its location.  This is while erosion causes rocks to break off or smaller particles of rock to break off, but the location changes a little because the chunks of material end up somewhere else.  A good example of erosion is chunks of a huge rock getting knocked off and falling down the mountain.  A good example for weathering is like in a national park where the big boulders bet smaller and smaller yet you don’t see big chunks because its done by the weather (wind, rain, etc.).
