    let no. be x and y.

    we have

    x+y=11…….(1)

    x-y=5……..(2)

    adding equation 1&2

    x+y+x-y=11+5

    2x=16

    x=16/2=8

    again

    8-y=5

    y=8-5=3

    :.

    x=8,y=3
