Answer:
Sum of all number = mean × numbers
= 5 × 10 = 50.
If median is 13 so, there must be 2 number before and after 13.
Sum of remaining 4 numbers
= 50 – 13 = 37.
so, two numbers may be,
14 + 16 = 30.
3 + 4 = 7.
1st ans = 3, 4, 13, 14, 16.
1 + 3 = 4.
15 + 18 = 33.
2nd ans = 1, 3, 13, 15, 18.
Mean is the average.
10 x 5 = 50
All 5 numbers need to add up to 50.
Median is the middle value, so there are 2 numbers below 13 and 2 numbers above 13.
Since the middle number is 13, the other 4 numbers must add up to equal 37 (50-13 = 37)
4 +3 = 7
14+16 = 30
1 set could be 3, 4 ,13, 14, 16
A 2nd set could be:
1 +2 = 3
16 + 18 = 34
1,2,13,16,18
