equal both sides to each other since they’re both equal to y.
so -2x+2=-x-1
bring the x’s on one side and the numbers on the other by using opposite signs when bringing over.
-2x +x=-1-2
simplify.
-x= -3
take out the negative by dividing by -1 on each side.
x=3
now substitute ur x in ur equations with 3.
so y=-2x+2 is y=-2(3)+2 which gives -4
and y=-x-1 is y=-(3)-1 which is y=3
then plot on graph
