Pressure exerted by water at this depth = p x g x H
Where,
P = density of sea water = 1029 kg/m3
g = acceleration due to gravity 9.81m/s2
H = depth of water = 9.8 km = 9.8×10^3 m
Pressure at this point is
1029 x 9.81 x 9.8×10^3 = 98926002 pa
But Guage pressure is pressure at this depth minus atmospheric pressure.
Atmospheric pressure = 101325 Pa
