Reason- in order to have two lines be parallel they must have the same slope, in this case the slope has to be 3x. If you look at A it is 2y=6x+8 and to graph it, y has to be by itself. so you divide both sides by two making it y=3x+4, and as you can see it now has a slope of 3x.
