Answer:20

Step-by-step explanation:Well consecutive numbers mean that the 3 numbers will follow each other in smallest to largest.

Example : 6, 7, 8 or 6,34,87

Non-Example : 7, 9, 6

As long as the number is greater than the one before it they are consecutive.

Following this rule I have come up with the numbers :

10, 12, 20

These three numbers are consecutive and equal to 42.

Now to find the largest number in this set just look at the greatest value which would be 20.

I don’t have an entire explanation for this as I just did it in my head but I do hope it is correct.

I hope this helps! 🙂
