    Normal faults assume a more shallow dip angle with depth; when the fault plane becomes nearly horizontal, these faults are termed as thrust fault.
    Since,
    A reverse fault in which the dip of the fault plane is so small as to be almost  horizontal is called thrust fault. In thrust faults, the hanging wall moves almost horizonatlly over the footwall.
    Hence,
