    Answer: salt and water only

    Explanation:

    For instance:

    HBr(aq) + KOH(aq) → KBr(aq) + H2O(l)

    Acid + base → Salt + Water.

From the chemical reaction above, Hydrobromic acid, aqeous HBr reacts completely with an appropriate amount of base, Potassium hydroxide (KOH) to produce salt, potassium bromide (KBr) and water, liquid H2O only.

During this reaction, the hydrogen ion, H+, from the HBr is neutralized by the hydroxide ion, OH-, from the KOH to form the water molecule, H2O while K+ combine with Br- to form the salt compound, KBr.

Thus, a chemical reaction of acid and base yield salt and water only.
