    -2x        -2x

    -10y=14-2x

    /-10      /-10

    y=14+1/5

    in order for them to be perpendicular the slope has to be the complete opposite to be more exact the number has to be flipped and so does the sign and since -5 was flipped to +1/5 it shows that they would be perpendicular
