    diameter of a cylinder (d) = 12 cm

    length(h) = 30 cm

    curved surface area of cylinder (csa) = ?

    we know that ,

    therefore , csa of cylinder = 2πrh

    r = d/2

    or, r = 12/2= 6 cm

    Then, csa if cylinder = 2 ×22/7×30

    = 2×22×30/7

    = 1320/7

    = 188.57 Square cm Ans,……
