    i) The distance Mary run = 2 *x = 2x

    ii) Distance traveled by bus = 65 m more than the distance she ran

                                                 = 65 m more than 2x

    x + 2x + 2x +65 = 600

                5x + 65 = 600

                       5x = 600 – 65

                       5x = 535

                         x = 535/5
