     ( x² + 2.x.5 + 5² ) – ( x²- 4² ) – 10 = 8

     ( x² + 10x + 25 ) – x² + 16 – 10 = 8

     x² + 10x + 25 – x² + 16 -10 = 8

    ( x² – x² ) + 10x + ( 25 + 16 – 10 ) = 8

     10x + 31 = 8

    10x = 8 – 31

    10x = -23

    x = $\frac{-23}{10}$ .
