1) increasing the side by a quantity of 1 causes the new square to increase by 2 times the previous side quantity + 1.
Example 1: 3×3=9, if you increase the sides to 4×4 increases the square by (2×3+1) to be 16.
Example 2: 12×12=144, if you increase the sides to 13×13 increases the square by (2×12=1) to be 169.
