   • Similarly the point at which a line crosses y axis is called its y intercept and there x coordinate is 0

   Y intercept:–

   put x=0

   • y=-5(0)-3
   • y=-3

   (0,-3)

   X intercept

   put y=0

   • -5x-3=0
   • -5x=3
   • x=-3/5

   (-3/5,0)
