Given an arithmetic sequence,  a₁ = 3 and a₃ = 11.  ∴ d = (11 - 3)/2 = 4, as there is a  difference  of the two terms.  We know,  Sₙ = n/2{2a + (n - 1)d}.  S₁₀ = 25/2{6 + 49.4}.  S₁₀ = 25{6 + 196}.
